zen graffiti

i love these two photos!

1. what a great idea for an on-the-cheap closet! you could probably find one of those metal utility cabinets for cheap and then rig it with a clothes bar or just use the shelves. if it’s not metal you can use a metallic spray paint and seal it with a matte finish clear spray paint. i like how the graffiti-like writing says something zen and falls off the edges…also notice the little zen men stencil down at the bottom. they achieved a zen look by pairing it with the relaxing blue color of the walls and vintage and wood accents. love!

2. just too cool! what is going on here?! i’m assuming it’s achieved with three dimensional painting techniques like Julian Beever’s street art.
