dream pad of the moment: a barn somewhere

okay, so maybe you wouldn’t want to live here but what a great place for a summer event or an a’hem roll in the hay. don’t discount straw or hay bales for decorating purposes. i also love the worn in walls too! straw is fun to use in forever arrangements (arrangements that don’t die). use it in the bottom of cool glass jugs – like the sticks in this post. i also love the use of old fencing to make a folding screen – genius! and speaking of straw – hay bales are great for outdoor party seating! get some and cover with cute blankets – navajo blankets are colorful and durable…. one question though, is that a knit hot water bottle?
