kilo!

meet kilo! you may recognize him from an earlier post where he was modeling with erin….and now I thought I would formally introduce the man of our house.

santa fe, new mexico @ the sage inn

loving the grass in cincinnati, ohio

my roommate and I rescued him from a shelter in new york during our last semester in college.  he lived with us in our tiny apartment on the lower east side and then drove across country with us when we moved back to la.  having a dog is great because it forces you to get outside and walk around and forces you to exercise more! he went from city dog to on-the-road traveling dog to beach dog… we don’t know what happened to him / what he went through before we rescued him but he certainly is living the life now!

along with this, kilo modeled in nylon magazine for an article about adopting and benefiting homeless dogs! if you’re in the boston area, be sure to check out the mspca “puppy and kitty love” fundraiser – all proceeds go to benefiting homeless animals.

did i mention he knows how to fly?

kilo is absolutely adorable! i really want to adopt another dog but it’s not going to work out with my jack russell around since he likes being the “only child”. in the future i will though! i love how organizations like these give dogs a “new beginning”
