meirav peled barzilay is a tel aviv based designer. her creative process attempts to bridge traditional craftsmanship with up to date technology. my favorite project of hers is the ‘photosynthesis lamp.’
using a metal grid with a vine at the base, it will grow throughout the wires and create a lampshade as time progresses.
with an energy saving light bulb, the plant will grow and provide your room with eco-friendly light.
