lionel & other new friends

last week when i was in new york, walking around my old stomping grounds, i stopped in at my favorite record store A-1 records. it’s normally dangerous for me to go in there but i knew going in that i could only fit a few more things in my carry-on while traveling back to LA.

sifting through piles of old records i came across these two GEMS.

lionel ritchie back in the day… killing it.

who knew he was such a fox?!!

along with those magical album covers, i bought booker T. and the m.g.’s cover record of abbey road by the beatles, a people under the stairs record (a rap group from LA), and the kinks (an amazing band from england).
