Loading...DIY summer wedding flower arrangements
my aunt got married in san diego last weekend, and my mother was in charge of the flowers. we made eight arrangements ourselves! …here’s how to do it yourself!
the first thing you need is an “oasis” – this is made of aquafoam. you first soak it so that it holds water and keeps the flowers in place. baby Josie helped out too!
next we cut pieces of New Zealand flax “Yellow Wave” to line the vase. you could do just the solid green, or chose the leaves that have more yellow in them.
then we placed the flowers — Gerber Daisies and Spray Roses.
last you add the filler — we used boxwood or sprigs of rosemary and Hydrangea leaves.
and the finished product!
