fnofit – fno outfit post

this is the outfit i wore to the Fashion’s Night Out event at A.sweeT this past thursday… there are definitely some Autumn/Winter 2011 fashion trends sprinkled throughout this outfit…

spot the trends:

polkadots (tutu)
color forms (top and hair)
collage prints (shoes)
rose gold (Mr. Kate Rosé collection)

but in really-real life, i never subscribe to trends, i just wear what i love! and i happen to love all of the above trends so how-darn-handy that they happen to be “in” right now. these Luxury Jones boots are my new obsession, i will be wearing these a lot! i posted more about them and their DIYable-ness here.

i love the outfit – as usual! Totally know what you mean about not following trends – i’m currently doing a styling course with the hope of becoming a stylist or at least working with fashion in some way. I hope this isn’t going to be a problem for me because I hate to see people dressed head to toe in the latest trends and I must, must, must throw a spanner in the works when dressing someone. You always manage to look current without being overly ‘trendy’ – I love the way you put your own spin on things. Fantastic!

I LOVE the braid/colored hair extension hair-do!! It would be fabulous if you could do a tutorial!!! The boots are pretty sweet too, might I add…I’ll have to see if I can imitate it!
