window mirrors
this is my “dining room” at my parents house. i call it the “dining room” because my house is very open and it’s kind of hard to tell where one room starts and the other one stops. i wanted to show you guys how mirrors can be used to create the illusion of more space. window mirrors definitely can open up rooms and save you a lot of money – instead of installing a brand new window, install a window mirror! much cheaper.
i am not sure where my mom got these (probably at a flea market) but they can create the illusion that you’re home is bigger than it is and that you have more windows than you actually have! i love the distressed green paint. they reflect our outside deck, so it tricks you into thinking you’re looking outside.
window mirrors are awesome because you can instantly add a new architectural feature to your home without knocking down any walls or much installation. so sneaky!
you can see our beautiful bogenvia in that awesome shade of purple/pink in the reflection!
