landmarks across the globe

this just makes me want to save up alllll my money and travel!  here is a compilation of some of the world’s most awesome landmarks.  a landmark is any recognizable structure or natural fixture.  we have tons in the United States that are tourist attractions (Statue of Liberty, St. Louis Arch, the Washington Monument…) here are a few of my favorites from the list:

the Statue of Liberty in new york.  i recently read that the statue of liberty was actually intended to be a gift for Egypt, but they refused it and America was France’s second choice… she’s a hand-me-down!

    i’ve seen 4 of those! the big ben, statue of liberty (which i had no idea was a hand me down. how interesting!), mount fuji and the great wall of china! the great wall of china was a bit scary though, we had to take a dodgy cable car up to the wall… not the must fun experience.  and the pollution is really bad D: however,  it was beautiful :) i would love to see all the landmarks! travelling is awesome

    I just watched a whole thing about the Statue of Liberty on tv. It was very interesting. A lot of stuff I didn’t know. And I’m trying to save up all my money to travel too…it’s going to take a while.
