DIY of the day: glue art
you know i love simple and easy ways to snazz and spruce! here are two examples of glue art! yes, get these looks using hot glue (on the bottles) and Elmer’s glue or puffy paint (on canvas)…hooray!
Glue Gun and Paint on Mason Jars
What You Need
- hot glue gun
- glass paint
- mason jar(s)
Do It:
- write your word or create your design with a steady stream of hot glue. let it dry.
- paint with one or two coats of glass paint in the color of your choice. voila!
School Glue on Canvas
What You Need:
*note: you could use puffy paint for this as well but white school glue would work too!
- white school glue
- blank canvas
- optional: paint
Do It:
- create your design with the glue, simple is better because you can’t get too intricate with a glue nozzle. let dry
- optional: paint over your canvas and raised glue design if you want to change the color of the glue and canvas.
