nail art roundup

nail art is all the rage these days. i frequently post about my various gel manicures which i get at the salon every 2 to 2.5 weeks. i like the gel because it stays put through all  my DIYs and keeps my nails from breaking for sooo long! i like to bring Swarovski crystals from the crafts store for them to glue on!…but beyond the salon, there is lots of nail art that you can DIY!

DO IT!:

you can use nail art brushes or small paint brushes for some designs. here’s a nice kit of brushes for $10. or you can use a stamping kit like these by Konad for the really intricate designs. here’s a stamping starter kit for $12. here is a video demo-ing a Konad stamp…looks easy enough!

there are so many nail art video tutorials on YouTube from Marble nails to Newspaper nails

let me know if you guys have any nail art tips or sources you love!

I just got a konad set and I am absolutely thrilled with it! it is so easy and fun to do, plus there are so many fun designs to try.  One of my very favorite manicures to do though is still using reinforcement tabs to do a half-moon manicure.  I was so happy to see this post because I am way addicted to nail art, thanks!
