vegan leather by free people

for their spring line, Free People has released a collection featuring all vegan leather… and i want it all…. they even have vegan Doc Martens! the clothes are cute and amazing, as always, but they’re also cruelty free! perfect for those of us that love the look of leather, but try to dress animal friendly.

hopefully Free People’s eco-friendly collection will inspire other big clothing brands to follow suit. here’s a round up of some of my favorite pieces from the collection:

a designer at Free People states, “Although it’s not made from animals, it still has that great look and feel of real leather so it feels soft.” depending on how the line does in stores and online, the vegan leather may be in permanent rotation for free people. i think the concept is great and the clothes are equally awesome – i really hope this line does well!
