DIY no egg easter egg decorations

how about some no-egg egg decorations for this Spring, Easter or Passover!?

this first one i found on Pinterest – i love using paint chips (samples) for easy artwork options (i’m doing a DIY soon with them!). i love this use of paint samples to create egg shapes and make an easter garland!

these DIY embroidery thread eggs i’ve seen done a few times but i love what Alissa did on her blog Crafty Endeavor with the colors! all you need is balloons, thread and starch – so this is a great craft to do with kids! make them into a garland or simply display in a bowl, like Alissa did. love!

last year I wanted to make non-egg easter eggs, so at my local art supply store (Micheal’s, I’m not sure if you have them in CA though) I picked up eggs made out of recycled paper and cardboard. We painted them (and they didn’t become soggy even though I thought they would) and decorated them when they dried with feathers, stickers, glitter, and ribbons. They came out so cute and now we can display them every year because they won’t spoil!

I made vegan friendly paper mache eggs this year, using balloons and colourful tissue paper- very happy with the results! I’d like to give those embroidery thread eggs a try though.
