color palette inspo: chocolate brown, coral and robin’s egg blue

i love these colors together. recently i was requested to do an “earth-toned” room. but i couldn’t bring myself to do only brown and burnt orange, it needs something to set it off and not look too dark and dingy… in comes coral instead of orange and a dusty robin’s egg blue and pure white to set off the color palette and elevate it to a totally new level… plus, those are earth tones! the blue of the sea and sky and the coral of the, well, coral! this is my mood board so we’ll see how it turns out!

i think many people stick to “earth tones” when buying furniture because it’s safe to go brown and tan, etc. but i encourage you to throw in a little blue or white or yellow to make earth tones new and different.
