OOTD: quaint in ombre denim

could i have ironed my shirt? yessss, did i want to on a steamy sunday at dusk? noooo! this shirt is really soft. i could have DIY’d it but for 20 bucks from the Forever land of the 21s (forever 21), i decided to throw down and save myself some bleach fumes.

the breakdown: i think this is both a back-to-school and workplace-worthy outfit (maybe with slightly tidier hair). the trick to making this outfit not nauseatingly cutesy is the messy top-knot and the tied shirt. that, and the “Oh Shit” pin adds some irony and juxtaposition to the plaid flair skirt and wicker briefcase – which BTdubStep, how cute is this wicker briefcase!? i got it forever ago at the flea market and i’m waiting to downsize to a 15 inch laptop to use it as my computer bag.
