escape from los angeles: malibu wine tasting

little did we know wine country starts all the way down in Malibu!? next time you need to get out of the hustle of LA, or are visiting from out of town and want to see the natural side of city life, pack a picnic (sans wine, you’ll get it there) and motor north on PCH. about 35 minutes out of the city you’ll find Malibu Wines, a serene and secluded wine tasting room, plus hill and open air patio and dance floor (with excellent DIY and rustic furnishings) on a sprawling vineyard.  enjoy a tasting of different wines made from the grapes off the property as well as some of the other local wineries.  take some friends, and plan a whole day of drinking, laughing, relaxing and napping under the trees around the property….good times!
