i had so much fun at the Madewell store opening in Pasadena last night, hosted by Pasadena Magazine! i sold Mr. Kate jewelry and made Mr. Kate DIY bracelets with the event attendees…fun! thank you so much to everyone who came out! i met so many new people who were all fans of Mr. Kate and it made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside!

Dana, the store director and all the other wonderful ladies at Madewell outfitted me with an entire Madewell outfit including the snazzy floral jeans and emerald green wedges – i love! i’ll post more pics later.

also Hanah, from Madewell, gave me a custom Mr. Kate ear cuff AND the office troll because we were talking about our troll obsession and how i’m so mad i got rid of my childhood troll collection – i had so many! waaaah!!! the office troll became the DIY mascot of the evening.

i’m so excited for this Thursday’s Madewell store opening event! i will be there selling jewelry from my new collection as well as giving away a Mr. Kate bracelet that you can DIY yourself!

i LOVE Madewell’s clothes AND shoes and you will too! i stopped by the store earlier this week and they outfitted me with the cutest Madewell duds, which i’m so excited to rock! – there may or may not be a white floral denim moment in my future…that’s a yes people!

Joey and i got invited by our friend, and Angeleno magazine Editor in Chief, Lesley McKenzie to this very rad event for their Men of Style issue at Saks Fifth Avenue! …thankfully i had a man of style to go with!

the event was quite posh (i love that word), with cigar-making stands, wine tasting and limoncello bars, photobooths where you could pose for a faux magazine cover, and all this taking place over the 4 floors of Saks Fifth Avenue Men’s!

i love me some Man Repeller! don’t you!? her super smart and hilarious blog gives me the giggles every time and her style sense is obviously magical.

i went to the Growze store opening hosted by Taylor Jacobson (you know her from Rachel Zoe on Bravo and she has a show on Oxygen coming out soon) and Mischa Barton. Taylor was super sweet, as you can probably tell from the video – she was goofy and stylish – my fave combo!

it’s a super cute store from Japan started by a husband and wife team, now making shop in a prime spot on Larchmont Blvd in LA. i really loved the leopard and polka-dot tutus (you know how i love wearing tutus!) and tops with pearl encrusted collars, oh, and the prices are great, ranging from $37 to $150! i picked up a pair of thick ‘dork’ glasses for $19 that i’m excited to wear in outfit posts soon! i love Japanese style and i’m stoked there’s an authentic store now in la la land!
