Ew. But you cannot define a garment of clothing absolutely. While I think pajama pants in public usually look sloppy and sad, "sleepwear" can be a fashionable addition to an outfit. What about this trend of pretty slips & negligees worn as dresses and shirts? I don't think banning any specific item or type of garment is even possible because how you wear something defines its purpose. I like to wear men's shirts to bed, but I'll also wear them with shorts outside. That doesn't make them sleepwear. I mean, what are they going to do?
